Back to School Initiative
Through the REDBLACKS Back to School Initiative, the OSEG Foundation aims to ensure that no student in our community goes back to school with an empty backpack.
By providing proper school supplies, lunch bags, shoes and other back to school essentials to children and families, more students will be equipped with the tools they need to prepare for a successful school year and ready to learn so they can excel and reach their full potential.
The OSEG Foundation will work with other community organizations and schools to distribute the backpacks and school supplies to where they are needed most.
This Year’s Fundraiser Event
Join us for Ottawa’s largest networking event!
Join 400 guests for an evening of networking, food, football and fun. REDBLACKS Summer Rush is split up into several structured ‘SPEED-NETWORKING’ sessions where you will meet Ottawa’s next generation of community leaders and members of the Ottawa REDBLACKS.
All proceeds support the OSEG Foundation’s Backpack Program which provides school supplies, lunch bags, shoes, and other essentials to children and families, helping students gear up for a successful school year. With the right tools, all students can excel and reach their full potential

Interspersed between the networking times will be a complimentary food service!
Of course, in attendance will be some special members from your Ottawa REDBLACKS.

The evening will conclude with a giant open-floor networking opportunity to meet the next generation of Ottawa’s movers and shakers.
